TRAINING



Objectives and components of the training scheme
 

This program aims to give new successful opportunities to  agricultural and fishing projects, to take part in the agriculture renovation , to establish modern exploitations based on new technologies and good management. This, in order to prepare the sector with the competitiveness of the domestic and external markets.

Place

Sessions are organized in   technical schools in Tunisia Duration and contents of the training
The training course lasts 15 weeks and includes  4 modules

  • General education including organizational culture , Specificity of the agricultural and fishing projects and the environment of the agricultural companies

  • Technical training including  general technical training and  Specialized technical Training

  • Training in management including  Choice of the project and feasibility study , sessions in data processing , Implementation plan

It should be noted that the training scheme includes  also visits of projects and a 3 weeks training course in a agricultural company

Targeted promoters


This program concerns the young promoters wishing to settle for the first time and their own accounts namely:

  • Children of farmers wishing to create a project on a family exploitation.Farmers beneficiary of  Valorization and Agricultural Development Companies (SMVDA)

  • Holders of a diploma of the specialized higher education

  • Holders of a vocational aptitude certificate   in agriculture

  • Young beneficiary of a land loan .

Conditions of participation

  • Age  at least 18 years

  • Scholastic level: second cycle of secondary education at least

  • Availability of farm whatever its legal form: property, renting, procuration,   technician parcel , land loan, certificate of possession

  • Total Availability for the project.

Charges

The APIA takes in charge the training and the lodging of the participants.

Participation form

The participation form is picked up  at  the one-stop Counter located at the head or branch offices  of the APIA, the CRDA or through the APIA’s Web site

 Files of participation

  • participation form duly filled

  • Copy of the  National Identity card

  • A certificate indicating the Scholastic level of the participant

  • A certificate indicating the legal form of the  exploitation

Notice young graduates wishing to invest in   agriculture and fishing

The Agricultural Investment Promotion Agency, organizes training courses intended for the young graduates wishing to invest in the following activities:

  • Aromatic and medicinal plants Production

  • Production of under-greenhouses   market gardening

Conditions of participation

  • Scholarship level : Graduates from high school (at least 2 years)

  • Available   farm land whatever its legal form ( owner, rent, land loan…)

  • Available for the implementation of the project.
