QUALITE COMPONENT

1- OBJECTIVES  

  • To identify and introduce the brand image of the agricultural and agroalimentary Tunisian products’ quality

  • To define quality levels (standardization, controlled origin label, indication of source, organic agriculture…) within the Tunisian agricultural production,

  • To improve the service offers to the operators in order to produce recognized quality products, remunerated and identified from the producer to the consumer.

  • To ensure a fast diffusion of information between the producers, the service providers, the transformers and the market .

  • To promote the Tunisian agricultural products having specificities at target groups   identified as potential consumers.

  • To train Tunisian operators in promotion,  marketing, packing, distribution, for a better access to the national and foreign markets

2- ACTIVITIES

Creation of the quality network:
 Cells quality  installated in the interprofessional groupings and the national office of drive Oil, covering fruits, vegetables, poultry products  , red meats and milk. These cells are made up of experienced executives and technicians. These teams work in symbiosis with the profession to help to introduce Tunisian consumers and foreigners the quality of the Tunisian agricultural products.

These cells are organized in  quality network animated by APIA.

Studies realization:These studies basically aim at promoting the quality of the Tunisian agricultural products for a better access to the foreign markets  :

These studies aim at the attribution of quality labels (controlled origin name, indication of source, organic agriculture…) to the Tunisian agricultural products.

These studies for a better positioning of the Tunisian agricultural products on the external markets.  

Training
executive training of the network quality: participation of the executives of the network quality in training cycles in Tunisia and abroad relating to food safety and export.
Training of the exporting producers: training of the professionals in the topics related to quality, the packing and preparation of the product to export, the techniques of the international trade…  

Research activities: these activities are intended to improve the products quality, to develop products for niches of specific markets and to develop new techniques of organic fight and conditioning or transformation .

Gate of agriculture
: the gate of agriculture will have a promotional vocation for the marketing and the export of the agricultural products . This gate will be placed  in  ONAGRI and will have links with the various sites of the national and private organizations and institutions operating in the sector. This gate represents a core for the electronic trade of the Tunisian foodstuffs.

Acquisition of equipments
: equipments  were  acquired on behalf of the interprofessional groupings and of the National office of drive Oil for a better quality control of the agricultural products (fruits, vegetables, milk and olive oil)
